so much to say, so little motivation to say it

I can't wait for this year to end and summer to start. Dear Summer: i'm going to make sweet passionate love to you for four months.
Finaly finished my social work application, it was a little late but pray that it goes well.

This weekend was good. should have been longer but it was still a ton-o-fun. just a little preview of what the summer holds.

I finally experienced the new passion play (havn't seen the passion play since i played barabbas at the memorial centre.) It wasn't bad, but, shouldn't Jesus have more then four scenes? always a critic, never a player (it's important to be able to critique yourself)

who wants in on our summer MAN-poker/cigar night. The poker is texas hold 'em with a $10 buy in. and you have to smoke a cigar and pay for your own, which means you need to be over 19. (although talk to me and maybe i can make some acceptions). you'll need to pass the MAN SUMMER board of review. they look at all applications for MAN SUMMER related events.

huh?

ok, so you know how most bible college students get those bible college moments when they say 'what the f- am I doing here?'. well, appearently they happen in university too.
I don't have the slightest clue what i want to do, i just know i want to get my education done so i can travel or somthing.

I was supposed to apply to transfer to social work, but the never mailed the application too me, so i they let me know that i could get the documents online. but when i got them i only had a month to do the application package (which included a personal profile, essay, forms to be sent to refrences, and general forms to me to fill out'. so unfortunatly i didn't have time to do all that in a month plus school and work.

So my i told my parents that which let to a big 'what are you doing with your life' discussion (which ended with me saying 'how the hell am I supposed to know, i'm 21).

anyways, if you don't here from me in awhile, it's because i moved to california to become a hobo (if you're gonna become a hobo, you should at least go somewhere warm)

you wanna make something of it?

well, as the school work starts to build up (not really that much, my job is starting to winde down, and although i still have 4 weeks, it's still nice to do a little reflection.
Fo those who don't know, i'm a personal support worker for a guy with multiple disabilities. some of these disabilities include blindness, multiple sclerosis, secondary tourette's and very poor short-term memory. He is also infatuated with girls and his car. But now for a look at the lighter side of being a personal support worker:

-being asked to wash the car at least twice a week
-getting to explain what scabs, farts, poops, burps (and other bodily functions) are on almost a daily basis
-knowing that at any moment i would be dropped like a hot potatoe for a girl
- i've actually considered stealing his little black book because it has more cute girl's phone numbers then i have ever seen
- the keys (none of you will understand this)
and many more good times. seriously, you should all spend some time being a personal support worker for someone. although your experiences will be different, they will still be memorable.

And now for some pictures of me and chris (the guy i work with/for):

what's in a name?

so there;s been a lot of talk about name changes for christianity and evangelicals. first of all change the name of Christians is pretty dumb. It's like trying to wipe clean our history. They say people will make assumptions about us if they hear the word 'Christian', well I say let them. I f they want to judge us based on that word, then so be it. changing the word isn't gonna help cause eventually they will realize we are followers of Christ (and thus christian) and then we will still have all the questions to answer to. Besdies, many things have been done wrong in the name of christ and christianity, but amny wrong things have been done by athiests, muslims, communists and everyone else. we're human, we suck, deal with it.

Next up is the word Evangelical. for some reason we're held accountable for the mess of George W Bush and all that goes with him. I don't know why, I never voted for him (but then again I am Canadian). Let's be straight up and honest, real Evangelicals (as in the movement, not people who 'witness' their faith') are really just fundamentalists. NOw how would that look, if George Bush, who is waging war on fundamentalists and terrorists, was in deed a fundamentalists himself. of course it wouldn't be so hot,so Evangelical is much better (theres meant to be sarcasim throughout this). seriously, the Billy Grham crusade (great choice of a word there Billy) and all the rest are our champions of fundamental christianity. So just call me a christian, drop the evangelical. anyways, i've gone on a bitter tangent, so i'm gonna go have ice cream cake for breakfast.
